Valuation

Value a used Subaru

Our estimate of what dealers publishing to subaru.ca’s inventory feed typically ask for a car like the one you describe, from a model fitted to their listings every night. It is an estimate of asking prices — not an appraisal, not a trade-in offer, and not what a car sells for.

A tier the fit cannot tell apart is priced as the line’s most common one, and the estimate says so.

Each line is fitted on its own, from its priced listings (sold-as-is ones left out), every night; a line needs 30 priced listings to be fitted at all, so a line missing here has no estimate. “Half within” is the median gap between a listing’s asking price and the estimate a fit without it gave; “80% range held” is how often, in a five-fold check, an asking price fell inside the range a fit without it gave — about 80% is what an honest range shows.
