Value estimate
Cars like this one — a 2011 Forester Limited with 155,063 km — are typically asked about $9,215, and four in five between $7,487 and $11,318. This one asks $6,000, below that range, where about one such listing in ten asks.
Our estimate of what dealers ask for cars like this, not an appraisal and not a price it will sell for. Fitted on 332 live Forester listings on Oct 3, 2026, by model year, mileage, trim tier and certification. Each listing is valued by the fit on all the others, so its own price never sets its estimate; those estimates missed the asking price by a median 3.7%, and the 80% range held 81% of asking prices it had not been fitted on. It is a separate figure from the deal score: it never sets the band, and only withholds the “Below market” badge when a price is unusually low.
Safety recalls
- ClosedTKC-19Jan 9, 2019
Front Passenger Airbag Inflator
If the vehicle is involved in a crash requiring an airbag deployment, the airbag inflator could rupture and create a risk of injury.

Application of Anti-Corrosion Material to the Four-Way (2-2 Way) Joint Connector
Your vehicle has a dual circuit braking system. Each circuit independently and diagonally across the vehicle. If one circuit of the brake system fails, the other half of the system still works. Should a brake line corrode to the point of developing a perforation, brake fluid will leak from the line(s) causing the related circuit to eventually lose effectiveness. In this situation, there would be an increase in the amount of brake pedal travel distance and foot pressure required to slow or stop the vehicle. This might cause the driver to misjudge the amount of brake pedal travel required to achieve the desired stopping distance, increasing the risk of a crash.
